Partial demolition of single storey extension to rear of no. 227 Banbury Road. Erection of two storey building to create 7 x 1-Bed flats. (Use Class C3). Provision of private amenity space, bin and cycle stores.

This is an ingenious design. We are however concerned as to whether the access routes labelled 11 and 12 on the site plan are adequate for the various emergency services. We would also expect it to be confirmed that, as non-car residences, the occupants would be excluded from the CPZ arrangements. Lastly, we seek reassurance that the occupants of 225-229 Banbury Road will still have sufficient bin storage space behind their premises. If not, bins risk being parked in inappropriate areas, as has happened in some other city developments.
