Erection of single storey outbuilding for use as store and workshop and formation of open link porch canopy from existing house to new outbuilding.

We would comment that this application makes scant reference to the historical or environmental context of the development proposed, and none at all to the Conservation Area in which it sits. Considerable thought appears to have been given to making the new outbuilding appear complementary to the existing house, however, the site, and the outbuilding proposed are in a prominent position on Bellbroughton Road, at the corner of Charlbury Road. The documents provided do not adequately convey the likely effects on the neighbourhood and the street scene or the Conservation Area. We would suggest that consent should be withheld pending resolution of these issues
