Erection of a two storey side extension to provide 1×1-bed dwellinghouse (Class C3). Provision of amenity space, car parking and bin and cycle stores.
Hitherto, the two flats have shared the reasonable amenity space available. Now it is planned that this new dwelling house will, with its garden, take up a large proportion of the amenity space. The flats will be left with just a long narrow strip, to be divided (how?). This calls into question the adequacy of amenity space provision, and the feasibility of imposition on tenants in the midst of their tenancy.
