Demolition of existing rear extension to erect a single storey rear extension. Re-opening of ground floor window to west elevation. Formation of courtyard. Removal of 2no. windows to east elevation.

We would comment that the external amenity space of the proposed design is inadequate for the potential occupancy and as it is shared with storage arrangements for waste bins and bicycles. Moreover, as there appears to be no provision for car parking, and bicycle use by the occupiers is likely to be frequent, bicycles would have to be taken through the kitchen/dining room area, lounge, and conservatory in order to access secure storage in the small courtyard. This is surely unacceptable.
