Erection of a two storey side extension.

This application is difficult to judge, due to the vagueness of the ‘daylight assessment’ statement and lack of the lines and angles usually shown on the plans themselves. It is also impossible to tell how much of the garden will be covered by the extended house, as there is no ground plan of the proposed building in its garden.   Some strangely-shaped rooms are planned, and windows inconsistent with those in the original house.  In addition, no details are given of neighbouring houses;  we are told that proposed new windows will only look out over blank walls, but there may be paths down the sides of neighbouring houses which would lose their privacy.  We feel that more information needs to be given by the applicant before permission to go ahead is given.
