Part removal and replacement of existing conservatory to the rear.

This is a grade 2 listed building. A fine 19th century family home which the owners are sympathetically renovating. The property has previously been divided into flats. The design of the replacement conservatory is unashamedly modern and contrasts with the “gothic” style of the main part of the house. The illustration in Visualisation 1 in the provided documents shows that the roof of the proposed conservatory will extend across the facade of the main building. Visually it would be less jarring to terminate the roof at the boundary of the south wing, leaving a clean architectural line for the main facade. OCS would like this to be considered before permission is granted.
