The Highways Authority objects to this development on the grounds that there is an inadequate space behind the rear of the property to allow safe maneuvering of cars in and out of the 4 proposed parking spaces and that the number of parking spaces proposed, 4, is below the standard recommended by the County. This objection strongly suggests that the proposal amounts to over-development of this site in its context and taking account of the lack of available on street parking in the surrounding roads. We recommend refusal of planning permission.
