The complexity and diverse nature of the problems citizens face while going about their everyday lives were starkly addressed at a talk on 14 November given by Al Bell, Director of Oxford Citizens Advice Bureau. The charity’s highly trained volunteer staff provide practical help and advice to its clients. The work and dedication of all the CBA staff is impressive – its workload is revealed in the statistics provided in the Powerpoint presentation which you can see below or download.

The CAB also plays an important role in influencing decision makers on a range of contemporary social and economic issues including debt, housing, Universal Credit and Brexit.
