  Our key aims are equitable and sustainable growth in Oxfordshire and a widely understood decision-making process which commands public respect. The Growth Board's current arrangements for public involvement are much too constrained to achieve this. They do not encourage the level of involvement that people need in a well-functioning representative democracy. We offer to work with the Board to learn from best practice elsewhere.
