The Changing Role of The Lord-Lieutenant

The Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Marjorie Glasgow, along with the Vice Lord-Lieutenant and a team of 40 Deputy Lieutenants, promotes and encourages voluntary and charitable organizations, and takes an interest in the business, urban, rural and social life of the county to support HM The King’s primary interests of Community, Climate, Culture, and the Commonwealth. In this talk, the Lord-Lieutenant will describe how the role is changing.
