Demolition of existing rear extension. Erection of part single part two storey rear extension. Alterations to roof to hip to gable and formation of 1no. rear dormer in association with a loft conversion. Insertion of 2no. rooflights to front elevation. Insertion of 2no. windows to side elevation.

The application proposes a very large loft extension consisting of a rear box dormer that extends beyond the existing ridge height of the roof to the full width of the house. This will alter the roof line of the house as seen from the road. We believe this is over development of the house. Granting permission for this application would create a precedent for very large box dormers in this and other streets with similar houses in the area. We therefore believe that the application in its current form should be rejected
