Removal of boundary wall and formation of gated driveway with associated landscaping to front elevation.

We feel that it is wholly regrettable to turn a front garden into a parking space. It is particularly unfortunate in this case due to the satisfying simple front elevation with its traditional front garden , and its setting adjacent to Holy Trinity Church. Whilst not indicated on the application , we note that there is an extant side access with a car parking space. The red lines on the block plan outline the application site and also seem to extend onto the road. This must surely be an error ? In any event we think that the hard surfacing should be permeable to meet SUDS criteria in relation to runoff. This proposal is inappropriate and permission should be refused .
