Removal of condition 9 (Parking permits) of planning permission 16/01912/FUL (Erection of 1 x 1-bed dwelling (Use Class C3). Provision of cycle parking and bin storage.)) to allow existing allocation of 4 parking permits to be shared.
The current request for removal of condition 9 is to legitimize the occupants in 14B from being able to apply for parking permits, justification is the 4 permits issued to 14 and 14A are not being used. When permission was granted under 16/01912 the new property (14B) was excluded from eligibility for parking permits. Number 14 has since been divided into flats, hence the issue of 4 permits at the property. This is surprising The Council may wish to consider whether in the circumstances two permits should be withdrawn from this property, given its ruling on the exclusion of eligibility for parking permits at the new property (14B). The new property is in close proximity to frequent local transport connections to the city centre and rail station, access to local shops, restaurants and other services. The application should be refused.
