However, the existing building goes beyond the curtilage of number 6 and 8 Salegate Lane. However, the outbuilding termed an ‘inclusive room’ with bedroom, wet room and roof solar panels could be used independently as access is gained via the side of the property (between no. 6 and no 4). The applicant claims it will be exclusively for family use as an office. If granted permission should be explicit relating to the use of this building.
