Change of use of ground floor from financial services (A2 Use Class) to a mixed use (A3/A5 Use Class). Insertion of flue to rear elevation and formation of bin and cycle storage.

It is questionable whether or not another takeaway or restaurant establishment is needed on Cowley Road, that is a matter for the Council. However, we have some concerns regarding the proposed location of the exhaust flue which, as far as can be seen from the drawing, is immediately over the balcony entrance to the flat (272b) at the rear of the property. If this is the case, then it is entirely inappropriately placed and would be detrimental to the health and comfort of the occupants of the flat.
