Change of use from dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to House in Multiple Occupation (Use Class C4) (Retrospective)
Retrospective Planning permission for this HMO should be withheld until further information has been supplied; this application is inadequate and ignores a number of the required details: there is no Application form; no Design and Access Statement; the location map given (twice) is of a tiny area and gives no indication of its position in Headington (this would have been helpful to the cause, as further research shows that it is, in fact, very near London Road, Headington, Windmill Road and the Nuffield Orthopeadic Centre); no indication of proximity to public transport; no provision for wheelie bins, no provision for cycle storage, no indication of an amenity area and no elevations are included. One of the bedrooms is very tiny and for four bedrooms (potentially 7 people) only one toilet and one shower, in the same room, is surely inadequate. We urge refusal of this application.
