Partial demolition, refurbishment and extension to the community centre and erection of 12 residential dwellings formed of 7 one-bedroom and 5 two-bedroom apartments, with associated access and landscaping. (Amended Plans)

We submitted a very positive comment on this development in our letter dated 20 June 2020. One issue we did raise concerned the proposed flat roof on the accommodation block.  We were, and remain of the view that the roof should be pitched to match the adjacent/existing terraced houses. If this is not feasible then the same solution as has been proposed for the Arts Building would better link and balance the proposed development.
