Erection of part single and part two storey side extension to create 1 x 2 bed dwelling. Insertion of 2no. windows to rear elevation of existing dwelling. Alterations to vehicle access with car parking for an additional 3 no. vehicles and provision of private amenity space and bin and cycle store.

The proposed new dwelling extends right up to the side boundary with 2 Wilcote Road. Even so the floor plan is exceptionally long and thin from front to back, and we query whether the space can accommodate a separate house. We would also ask whether there is a large enough amenity space at the back. The front elevation fails to integrate the proposed addition with the existing building and sits unhappily alongside it. We would ask that these points be taken into account before a decision is made.
