Erection of a two storey building to create 2 x 2-bed flats (Use Class C3). Provision of car parking, private amenity space and bin and cycle storage.
It is clear from public comments and by inspection of the application documents that the relationship of the proposals to both 58 (and the potential neighbour impacts on No. 56) as well as 60 Mortimer Drive requires clarification – and re-application.
The Design and Access statement submitted states that this is an “application for a single dwelling comprising of two flats both two bedroomed” and the Highway authority have notified that the proposed parking provision falls below the required minimum standards and that the intentions regarding cycle and bin storage are not demonstrated.
Oxford Civic Society believes that this application should be refused allowing for clarification and resolution of these points for a re-application.
