Alterations and conversion of 2 x 5 bed dwellings (Use Class C4) to 2 x 3 bed dwellings (Use Class C4) and 2 x 1 bed flats (Use Class C3) at first floor. Demolition of existing rear extensions and erection of part single, part two storey rear extensions. Erection of 1no. bay window to front elevation. Insertion of 2no. windows to front elevation. Insertion of 2no. windows to side elevation and 2no. windows to side elevation. Removal of 1no. rooflight to rear. Provision of bin and cycle storage. 

Although 8 cycle parking spaces are planned, it is evident that these would not be practical for ease of use. Maneuvering cycles into and out of these spaces could prove difficult and heavy. It should not be necessary to have to lift a cycle into place: they should be wheeled in. This aspect of the overall proposal needs rethinking.
