Installation of new shop signage and window display to front elevation. Internal alterations to the shop floor, walls, lighting and ceilings. (Additional information – heritage statement).

We believe that the multi-colour lettering of Bubbleoloy signage proposed for the main facia on a listed building in a Conservation Area is not acceptable and that the lettering should be in a single dark colour. This would actually improve the visibility of the name. It is interesting to see on the company’s website that the 11 colours proposed for this signage are not used on the containers in which the Bubbleology drinks are actually sold, where a single dark (black?) is used. The OCS believes the application is acceptable if the signage is in a single dark colour.
