Although this application includes provision for storage of 6 bikes and bins, these facilities are positioned very prominently immediately outside the front elevation and thus making a significant contribution to the street scene. No design details, such as elevation drawings or indication of materials are shown. The bike store is positioned 600mm away from the front elevation of the property, and obstructs the front door in a manner which is clearly impracticable. Consent should be refused pending submission of adequate information and satisfactory proposals for attractively-designed and practicable facilities for bike and bin storage.
