We believe that signage within the Westgate Centre is not in the Public Domain and is a matter for the Westgate management. However, the sign at the top of the down escalator is poorly sighted and over detailed. In periods when the Centre is busy, people moving towards the escalator will largely hide the sign. When the Centre is not busy and the sign is fully visible it is inadvisable to have people stopping to read detailed information and blocking flow towards the top of the escalator. We would suggest that this sign and its positioning are reconsidered before the application is approved.
