Overhaul 3no. windows to front elevation and 2no. windows to rear elevation. Repairs to ceiling of the basement and stairwell enclosure. Replacement of 1no. door to second floor and insertion of roof void insulation. Upgrading of heating and electrical system to modern requirements. 

It is not clear from the application whether the doors and partition which it is intended to replace are original features or not. If they are, and are of merit, then they should be preserved and others ways found of increasing fire resistance if this is deemed important.
