Removal of condition 4 (Incidental use) of planning permission 17/02530/FUL (Demolition of existing sheds and toilet; erection of Garden Studio.)
The applicant wishes to remove condition 4: that the garden building should only be for the incidental use of the dwelling house. We believe that this condition is important as this prevents the garden house being used as primary living accommodation or as a business. The location of the building in a relatively small back garden, with poor access round the side of the house, lack of car and bicycle parking, bin storage and separate amenity space, make the building unsuitable for these purposes. OCS recommend that removal of condition 4 is refused.
