 Change of use of dwellinghouse (Use Class 3) to a House of Multiple Occupation (Use Class 4).

The documentation accompanying this application is unsatisfactory as the plan submitted is illegible and impossible to assess vis a vis the feasibility of conversion to an HMO.  The applicant should be asked to submit a revised plan showing existing and proposed arrangements.


The application makes provision for off-road parking for 2 cars, consequently because of the local conditions, the residents will be rendered ineligible for parking permits.


There is space for the waste bins in the front garden. However, there is no cycle provision, although there is a side entrance to the rear garden where such could be located. Consideration might be given to locating the bin storage at the rear of the house to improve the street view.  OCS recommend the application should be referred back to the applicant so the above issues can be addressed.
