The proposed rear garden outbuilding, with a footprint of 3.36mm x 4.0m and 3.5m tall, would occupy just about half of this small terraced house’s rear garden. It is functional in design and would dominate the views from the back of the terrace of neighbouring houses.
It would neither preserve nor enhance Walton Manor Conservation Area. We are of the opinion the planning permission for the garden building should be refused.
