Change of use from House in Multiple Occupation (Use Class C4) to a Large House in Multiple Occupation Sui Generis). Erection of a two storey side extension. Provision of bin and cycle storage.
This application constitutes over-development: it claims that there can be are 3 parking spaces at the front. However, if the expanded plans are permitted, then the 10 bicycles to be stored in the ‘amenity area’ at the back of the house will have to be brought through the communal kitchen, and if the proposed middle car is in place then there is no room for anybody to leave the house through the front, let alone with a bicycle. This application should be refused.
