Demolition of existing single storey side extension, Erection of a single storey rear extension and two storey side extension to create a 1 x 2-bed dwellinghouse (Use Class C3). Formation of new access and provision of 3no. car parking spaces.

We consider that the proposal to site cycle parking in the rear gardens of the two houses is not a satisfactory solution and will result in two houses with cycle parking that it is not feasible to use on a daily basis as it would entail taking cycles through the living rooms of the houses. The plans do not show where the bin storage will be sited in the front garden area and is not clear that there is, in fact, room for this and parking for 3 cars. We consider that the application cannot be approved until satisfactory bin and cycle storage has been included.
