This application constitutes the over-development of a site which is essentially an access drive (Riddell Place) to two bungalows: it is already serving both the backs and fronts of a number of dwellings and garages; on the day of a site visit, cars were parked half-on the pavement, half on the road behind the Harefields Road houses, compromising the space to drive in and out; the plan for two five-bedroom houses, inevitably meaning four extra cars, even though their gardens will be extended into the Banbury Road house garden is simply unrealistic.
