 Demolition of existing front boundary wall

We object to this plan: this modern but traditionally-styled terrace of houses was designed to have front gardens bounded and separated from the pavement by a front wall. The application, which states that it does not intend to park a car in the space which would be made if the wall were to be demolished, offers no other motivation except for re-planting; they have not made a case for the breaking up of a pleasant line of boundary wall, and any such permission would set an unfortunate precedent.
