Change of use from dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to a House in Multiple Occupation (Use Class C4)
This application is inadequate, in that there is no site plan provided, no indication of the relationship of the building to the street, no information on occupancy or parking. This is a narrow, 2-way road, already constricted by parked cars, including those frequently parked (illegally) on the footways. Change of use will likely lead to an increase in occupancy numbers, and individual, rather than household ownership and use of cars. We would urge refusal of this application on the grounds of the unacceptable effects on traffic congestion and parking issues.
