Erection of 2 x 2-bed dwellinghouses (Use Class C3). Provision of car parking, private amenity space and bin and cycle store.

The ridge height of the proposed building appears considerably greater than that of adjacent properties, suggesting a risk of it being over-bearing and detrimental to the amenity of the neighbours.

The bin storage indicated appears to be inadequate in size to accommodate common waste, re-cycling, green waste and food waste receptacles, is positioned immediately adjacent to the front doors of the houses (hardly a congenial juxtaposition), and could be difficult to access with the car parking spaces occupied. No details of design or sizing of the bicycle parking facilities are provided; Council policy requires that these be secure and covered and convenient to access. Bicycle access when the car parking spaces are occupied would be compromised. We object to this application, pending resolution of these issues.
