No statement of the intended occupancy of the premises is provided, but it appears that this could feasibly be four independent individuals, borne out by the proposals for bicycle parking. The property is at the end of a terrace, of which at least 6 properties have no direct street frontage, and which share limited parking space with a similar adjacent terrace. No CPZ is in force in this locality, hence it is not possible to restrict car parking or ownership relating to any one property; the probability is therefore that this proposal would lead to an increased number of vehicles using the access road and shared on-street parking space, exacerbating problems of congestion and obstruction. We would urge refusal of this application on the grounds of the unacceptable effects on traffic and parking.
