Sir Clive Booth is our new President

After 3 years as Vice Chairman Clive takes over as President.

29 March 2017

Clive Booth joined OCS in 1997 and was elected Vice Chairman in 2014. He has been particularly active in organising the Society’s planning group, the volunteer team whose work is described in detail in the Annual Review for 2016. He says that the attraction of being involved in assessing planning application is that they are very important to people and that they vary so much, from house extensions to a new health research campus in Headington and iconic buildings like the Blavatnik School of Government building in Walton Street.

As President he hopes to enjoy the entire range of the Society’s activities, including walks and talks and, of course, continuing with the planning group as well as the new group on housing.
